My BFF gave me this gorgeous little Viking “Valkyrie” pendant for my birthday. It’s a copy of one found in Sweden (Uppland) from a Norse burial site. I just LOVE little Viking guys, and now I have one of my very own!
Another friend of mine gave me a gift certificate to Burnley & Trowbridge, which enabled me to buy a quantity of black cotton lawn to make the Regency mourning dress I’ve been wanting to make for over three years, so I’m super excited about that, too.
Happy birthday to me!

Hooray, comments! Be nice to each other, and to me. Or I shall boot your ass and then mail you a dead fish. :D
